Scott has been interested in sport from a very young age. During his school years Scott would often be found playing football or tennis, but would always look for an excuse not to do the cross country, he hated running!

After leaving school Scott joined the Royal Navy. Since being in the Navy Scott has represented the Naval Air Command at both Tennis and Football. In February 2000, whilst playing football Scott broke his leg, which led to him spending 6 months with his leg in a cast.

It was rehabilitation from this injury that led to Scott finding out how to enjoy the running that would form a major part of his rehab programme. Since then Scott has completed the London Marathon twice and has run several half Marathons and greatly enjoys his work as fitness coach for St Agnes football club.

Scott has now completed his gym instructor's course and has completed torso training, core stability and circuit training workshops. Since joining the Core, he has also completed the Vibrogym levels one and two
training, making him a strong all-rounder.
