Strength, Power, Balance, cardiovascular fitness, flexibility or muscular endurance, these are all important aspects of physical fitness which need to be addressed to enable a team to outperform their competitors.

Good flexibility is vital to help prevent injury. Here at the core we are specialists in Pilates which not only increases flexibility, but improves Core stability too, an important factor improving balance and coordination

We recognise that endurance is vital to performance, as let’s face it, gig rowing is hard and the races aren’t short, so the more time spent on the water the better – right? Perhaps, but as part of a balanced training program, you need to be conscious not to overload one area of your training to the detriment of others.

We can help design a balanced training regime, supporting the weaker areas of your fitness while maintaining and improving others.
