Nordic Walking

Nordic Walking is a great way to get your whole body moving and to significantly improve the condition of your muscles, heart and lungs.

Baggy Tee

The class rules stipulate large t-shirts! This ensures everyone is equal, inspires confidence and unifies the class. Rather than Jane Fonda, it's exercise with a sense of humour and aims to bring the fun back into fitness.

Beaming

Balance, Engage, Align and Move The Beam is used for a multitude of exercises performed while standing, kneeling, sitting or lying down.

Body Balance

From the popular Les Mill’s class portfolio, BODY BALANCE™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates workout that leaves you feeling long, strong, centred and calm.

Body Vive

Low impact yet high energy combination class of heart training, strength and back health. A little cheesey, fizz with energy with this fun, entertaining class.

Groove FX

Its the way you move in your dance fitness class, layering and building moves to create a finished piece. Great music with combinations of street, hip hop, chart topping and old skool dance moves.

Boxercise

The World’s No.1 in Boxing Fitness Training has developed age old training principles and adapted them to form a fun, addictive, safe, stress busting workout suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

Aerobics

The Hi/low-impact group fitness workout that lets you choose just how hard you work

Pump FX

A barbell class that challenges your major muscle groups using a variety of weight-room exercises. Strength endurance training to banging tunes.

Pilates

Change the way you look, feel and even the way you move with Pilates. See improvements in posture and alignment and less back pain too! Highly trained Pilates teachers working with your posture and your awareness on postural correction.

Body Attack

Les Mills Body Attack is our high energy, athletic class. Body Attack is 55 minutes, sports inspired cardio, high intensity and you can burn up to 800 calories. This improves agility and co-ordination, strength and endurance, improving heart and lung fitness.

Swiss Ball

Conditioning class using stability balls and weights to help strengthen and tone you abdominal core muscles as well as the global core, i.e. the rest of your body!!

Yoga

The word Yoga comes from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” meaning to yoke, join or unite. This implies joining or integrating all aspects of the individual – body with mind and mind with soul – to achieve a happy, balanced and useful life, and spiritually, uniting the individual with the supreme.

Zumba

Sexy, Latin dance based interval-training class for all abilities, ages and both sexes. Helen was the first to bring this to the South West and it continues to be a massive draw at The Core. You have never experienced Zumba until you've done Zumba with Helen and her team

Pole School - Vixystrawbery Pole School

An hour of pole fitness at advanced level can burn 600+calories!

Level 1 course (6 weeks):
A 6 week course of beginners level spins, tricks, seats and climbs! Once you have passed level 1, you will be able to progress to level 2 to further develop your pole skills!

Pole & Tone (45mins Pole, 30mins Toning):
45 minutes of Pole exercises designed to condition your body, targeting each key muscle group followed by a 30 minute toning session to work on your core, arms, quads and glutes! Suitable for all levels of ability!

Pole Flexibility (45mins):
A chilled 45 minute class of relaxing stretches to improve flexibility both on and off the pole! Perfect to soothe all your sore muscles following Pole & Tone classes!

Drop in (mixed ability):
A fun mixed class for all abilities covering core strength and a wide range of spins, tricks & climbs! Brilliant for perfecting the skills learned at one of our courses.
